Eyoo! I'm Marin Čanković (he/him), a graphic designer, photographer, and general visual enthusiast based in Zagreb, Croatia.

This is my little corner of the internet, where I collect the things I make, the things I obsess over, and ideas that refuse to leave me alone. You'll find photography, graphic design and personal projects that I'm genuinely proud of, all tied together by a healthy dose of curiosity and visual experimentation. Background & Education.

Born in 1999 in Zagreb, Croatia, I've always been drawn to visual expression, particularly drawing and painting, fascinated by the process of starting with a blank surface and gradually turning an idea into something tangible and entirely my own.. At 18, I graduated from a vocational high school where I gained my first formal experience in graphic design, printing and related production process.

I went on to study at the Faculty of Graphic Arts, University of Zagreb, graduating with a Master's degree in Graphic Engineering, specializing in Graphic Product Design. My education provided the foundation for my work across graphic design and photography.

Graphic design.

My approach to graphic design combines an interest in visual communication with a fascination for how images, typography, color, and composition work together to communicate ideas. I'm particularly interested in visual identity and branding, exploring how these elements can establish a recognizable, coherent identity for a brand across different formats and applications.

I work confidently with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, and have expanded my skills into After Effects, particularly for motion graphics and animated content. I'm comfortable adapting my workflow to suit a project's creative and technical requirements.

Photography.

Photography has grown from part of my university education into one of the central elements of my creative practice. The more I explored the medium, the more I became interested in everything that happens beyond simply pressing the shutter: how light, composition, and the right moment can transform an ordinary subject or environment into something expressive, revealing details and perspectives that might otherwise go unnoticed.

My photographic interests include conceptual and art photography, events, portraiture, and architecture. Recurring themes in my work include atmosphere, space, memory, visual narratives, and the relationship between reality and perception. Whether working on personal projects or photographing people and places, I'm drawn to images that invite a closer look.

Current practice.

Today, I approach graphic design and photography as complementary disciplines, each offering different ways to shape and communicate an idea. Photography remains central to my creative interests, while branding, typography, and motion graphics allow me to explore visual communication across different contexts.

I'm continuing to develop my photographic practice through personal projects and series while expanding my work in graphic design, particularly visual identity and branding. I'm drawn to projects that encourage conceptual thinking, experimentation, and thoughtful visual storytelling.
