Artwork.
Art evokes the mystery without which the world would not exist. - René Magritte
My artistic practice is centered around drawing, painting and visual experimentation, with stippling becoming one of my primary ways of developing ideas. I’m drawn to surreal, eerie and slightly uncanny themes, using meticulous detail, unusual combinations and dreamlike imagery to create scenes that sit somewhere between the familiar and the strange.
This page brings together my ongoing artwork, experiments and finished pieces, with stippling currently at the heart of the work. It is a space for exploring ideas that don't necessarily fit within my photographic or design practice, while still sharing the same curiosity about imagery, perception and visual storytelling.
A Reality in Fragments
A series of surrealist stippling drawings exploring displacement, memory, and the transformation of familiar imagery into impossible scenes.
